Overview

User Analytics is a tool that uses GA4 (Google Analytics) data to analyze the source of user traffic, landing pages, and page transitions in a more intuitive manner than GA4. It also features the ability to visualize individual sessions in chronological order.

Basic Usage

<aside> 📌 To use User Analytics, you need to set up BigQuery export from GA4 side and grant read permission to your Amethyst service account in advance. If you have not done so, please see Preparation Before Using User Analytics first.

Open "All" from the left sidebar. This is the basic screen.

Select the filter criteria and click the "Save View" button to create and save the view.

The saved view will appear in the list of views.

Click on a card to go to its detail page.

Checking Sessions

Scroll to the bottom of each view page to see a list of the corresponding sessions. The link in the "Session ID / User ID" column will take you to the Session Explorer.
